TUCSON 2010 UPDATE

Well, Gene is back from Tucson with more stones than ever!! We BOTH went crazy this year stocking up on old favorites and some brand new items to help you and your clients in your growth and healing processes. Our theme this year was to be mindful of the current economic conditions and yet focus on the ABUNDANCE of the earth's wonderful resources we have at our disposal.  As you read through the list you'll recognize that the Universe is providing us with stones to claim our power, focus on the positive as we move forward, and be resourceful during the upcoming Earth shifts. As a result, we have a WEALTH of crystals and healing tools for you, many under $25 and even more under $50 that we think you will love as much as we do.

 

Specimens and Tools for $25 or Less:

  • NEW! INDIGO HALITE from Poland. This is a trippy little salt based crystal that has splashes of indigo and purple color (don't put it in water!). In addition to elevating the mood and diminishing negativity, this variety also stimulates psychic power, intuition and mysticism and encourages adaptability.   • NEW! ATLANTISITE (or Atlantis Stone) from Australia. This stone is a combination of green serpentine and purple stitchtite from Tasmania which we've had lots of requests for.  This stone brings in knowledge from ancient civilizations and healing techniques from Mu, Atlantis and Lemuria.   • NEW! SKUDDERITE from Morocco. This is a heavy metallic stone which feels to us like it expands the solar plexus and helps you step into your power with confidence.

  • STITCHTITE from Africa.  This is another 'as above, so below stone' which helps move the Kundalini into and through the heart chakra. We have some tumbled pieces and we're happy to have some rough larger sizes again for $10 each.

  • LIBYAN DESERT GLASS from Egypt. This was formed from a meteorite strike (just like Moldavite) but it is pale yellow in color. We sold out of it quickly last year and we managed to score some good material at incredibly low prices this year which we're passing on to you.   • CLEAR and GREEN APOPHYLLITE from India. This is a great high vibration healing stone to connect one to the Divine. The green variety is rarer and a wonderful stone for healing the heart and cleansing the aura. We picked up some beautiful large clear clusters for $25 and smaller clusters for $7 (clear) and $25 (green).   • NEW! COVELLITE Tumbled from Peru.  This is a versatile stone that acts to increase a positive attitude and help you achieve your goals. We managed to get some tumbled pieces for $10 - $20.   • NEW! AMETRINE polished points and FLAMES.  The flame shape is new for us this year and reminds Barbara of the cleansing Violet Flame.

  • MORE! BLOOD CALCITE from Mexico. We love this stone for easing muscle and joint aches. (And we needed it after carrying all these stones back from Tucson!)

  • NEW! PYRITE ON CALCITE from Morocco. This is sweet material that we haven't had a chance to play with yet but it is definitely a tool for for opening and clearing our mental chatter, solar plexus issues and allowing us to open to the heart to claim our real power. Prices start at $15.

  • NEW! PYRITE CUBES and SUNS. This was definitely the year for Pyrite!  We found some great little cubes for $7 each and a few Pyrite suns which are great for working on back pain for $25 each.

  • NEW! LABRADORITE WINDOWS from Madagascar. Who doesn't love Labradorite? This time we found some beautiful pieces polished into hand held 'window' forms which we just couldn't pass up starting at $10 each.

  • NEW! TUMBLED STONES, PILLOW shapes for Laying-on-of Stones, HEARTS and MASSAGE WANDS. We've restocked on all your favorite tumbled stones but in our quest to bring you new and exciting stones each year we are offering tumbled Atlantis Stone, Blue Sapphire, Orange Zircon, Lodestone and Magnesite to name a few. We have also expanded our line of massage wands and stone pillows for laying-on-of-stones.

  • And did we mention that we also have Optical Calcite, Dogtooth Calcite healing tools, Brazilian Singing Crystals, Crocite and much more?

  • VOGEL healing tools from Brazil.   We tried to find good tools that were affordable and we came back with some nice Brazilian made pieces.

  • HEMATITE COATED AMETHYST CLUSTERS from Canada. We found some small affordably priced clusters from Canada for your healing work. This is a great stone for combing the aura to remove stagnant energy.

  • CELESTITE eggs and geodes. A perennial favorite from $10 - $65.

  • AMBLYGONITE - We love this stone for calming and soothing the chakras while helping to release unwanted patterns. We got great prices this year which we're passing on to you.

New Stuff We Just Couldn't Pass Up:

  • One of our most exciting finds of this year's show were SMOKY QUARTZ and AMETHYST PHANTOM LASERS from Australia. These crystals connect the root chakra to the crown allowing us to expand into the Divine while remaining fully grounded on the earth plane. The smoky quartz also helps protect and cleanse any stagnant energy while the amethyst allows us to "reach for the stars".  We love this new stone and were lucky enough to bring back some very high quality material as well as lesser priced 'B grade' material so there's a stone available for almost any budget.

  • You know how rare and expensive AJOITE and PAPAGOITE are? Usually these specimens start at $400 and go up into the thousands. We were lucky enough to find a flat of small great specimens with lots of color, most of it below $400!

  • Found a stone from Canada this year called HACKMANITE. This stone instills peace and helps one attain a sense of Nirvana. [Check it out in Melody's Love Is in the Earth - The Crystal and Mineral Encyclopedia (hardbound) - page 343]

  • Also new for us this year is BOULDER OPAL in Matrix from Australia. We get calls for Opal from our clients and these will make great laying-on-of stone tools.
